To Read: I subscribe to Bon Appetit and Real Simple. I love to read the Food section in Rhode Island Monthly (which I also subscribe to) and learn about new restaurants, recipes, etc. especially during the warmer months of the year. I also follow Scott Conant, Alex Guarnaschelli, Bon Appetit and Starbucks, among others, on social networking websites, though I no longer use Facebook.

To eat: Naturally, Italian and Italian-American are my favorite cuisines to cook and to eat. However, I thoroughly enjoy the flavors of Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican and French among many others. My favorite dish will include some form of duck 90% of the time, but I do love many other things. I have been trying to maintain a clean, mostly healthy and balanced diet lately. To me, balance and moderation are most important; we all deserve to eat yummy dishes that we enjoy without having to worry about our weight. I believe that eating delicious comfort food and items that may be fattening does not necessarily mean eating unhealthy. Again, balance and moderation are most important.
